Typh's "I'M No Chicken" Burger Recipe

Savory and Zesty

Ingredients
1 lb ground chicken breast
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 egg white
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
2 tsp apple juice
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp ground mustard
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
2 dashes cayenne
1/2 tsp paprika
1 pinch oregano
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Directions
  1. On a clean, level surface spread chicken with fingertips, leaving multiple indentations to capture spices.

  2. Evenly sprinkle spices over meat.

  3. Add all wet ingredients and half of the bread crumb.

  4. Mix well with hands.

  5. Add remaining bread crumbs as needed.

  6. Form into 4 even sized ball, then shape into patties.

  7. To grill you may need to coat outside of burgers with additional oil. Be sure not to sear on high because there isn't enough fat in the meat to withstand such high heat.

  8. This is a basic recipe...add more or less of the things you like or dislike. Hope you enjoy.
