Spaghetti with vegetables

Makes 5 servings

Vegetables mixed with spaghetti sauce over pasta

Ingredients
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 medium onion, diced
2 medium zucchini, diced
3 button mushrooms, diced
1 carrot, shredded
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1 tsp dry basil
2 cups prego spaghetti sauce
1/2 lb thin spaghetti
10 tsp Parmesan cheese, grated
Directions
  1. Heat pan on medium heat.

  2. Add oil.

  3. Add veggies, salt, pepper and basil; saute for 5 minutes.

  4. Add sauce and heat until hot.

  5. Serve over pasta with 2 tsp grated parmesan cheese.

  6. Eat and enjoy.

  7. Also tastes great with browned italian sausage, or by adding some chili flakes or powder for a little added zip!;)
