Labne Spread

Makes 10 servings

Lebanese Breakfast spread- eaten usually with bread & olive oil

Ingredients
32 oz. Plain Nonfat Yogurt
Directions
  1. Pour the yogurt into a cheesecloth, and tie the cheesecloth into a bag. Tie cheesecloth around a wooden spoon, and suspend bag over an empty bowl. Let yogurt drain overnight.

  2. Make sure there is enough room in the bowl to catch the liquid.

  3. Remove the yogurt from the cheesecloth into a clean bowl. Whip the yogurt with a fork and a few drops of the drained water- to arrive at a smooth and thickned Labne Spread
