Strawberries mascerated in Balsamic (or alcohol of your choice if you're feeling really decadent) served with a wonderful light chocolate mousse - no prep time - make and serve!
| 100 | g Chocolate Couverture |
| 200 | ml whipping cream |
| 1 | tablespoons olive oil |
| 250 | g strawberries (chopped) |
| 1 | tablespoon balsamic vinegar |
- Whipped cream till soft peaks form - put aside.
- Mix chopped strawberries with balsamic.
- Melt chocolate and let cool slightly - add olive oil... then add a small amount of cream to chocolate, gently combine, now it's loosened add remainikng cream and combine.
- Pile 2/3 strawberries in the bottom of serving glasses.. top with chocolate mousse - finish with strawberries - enjoy!!!
- (optional extra is some chopped Pistachio's - a further twist if you're after it.
