Strawberries and Simple Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Makes 4 servings


Strawberries mascerated in Balsamic (or alcohol of your choice if you're feeling really decadent) served with a wonderful light chocolate mousse - no prep time - make and serve!

Ingredients
100 g Chocolate Couverture
200 ml whipping cream
1 tablespoons olive oil
250 g strawberries (chopped)
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Directions
  1. Whipped cream till soft peaks form - put aside.

  2. Mix chopped strawberries with balsamic.

  3. Melt chocolate and let cool slightly - add olive oil... then add a small amount of cream to chocolate, gently combine, now it's loosened add remainikng cream and combine.

  4. Pile 2/3 strawberries in the bottom of serving glasses.. top with chocolate mousse - finish with strawberries - enjoy!!!

  5. (optional extra is some chopped Pistachio's - a further twist if you're after it.
