Tuna & Pasta Cheddar Melt Recipe

Makes 4 servings


Twist on tuna casserolle

Ingredients
6 ounces tuna, white, canned, in water
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
10 1/2 ounces chicken broth
10 3/4 ounces cream of mushroom soup
1 cup skim milk
2 tbsp dry bread crumbs
2 tsp butter
3 cups rotini, whole grain, uncooked
Directions
  1. Heat broth plus one can of water in skillet. Add pasta and cook until just tender. Do not drain

  2. Stir in soup, milk, and tuna. Mix bread crumbs with softened butter, and sprinkle on top.

  3. Keep on medium heat until warmed through.

  4. tip: Serve with green beens
