My grandma's recipe. DeLISH.
| 1/2 | lb white bread |
| 1 | tbs melted butter |
| 6 | eggs |
| 1 1/2 | tbs vanilla |
| 1 1/2 | c white sugar |
| 1 1/2 | c half and half |
| 1 | tbsp cinnamon |
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Butter both sides of bread. Tear into small (about 1"-2") pieces and put in a large bowl. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, beat eggs and vanilla. Pour over bread and toss. Add sugar and half&half, toss.
- Pour mixture into 9x13" baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
- Bake at 350F for 55-60 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or cold.
