Italian Flag Spinach Dip Recipe

An indulgent but delicious appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients
10 ounces frozen spinach
8 ounces reduced fat cream cheese
8 ounces reduced fat sour cream
1 red bell pepper, diced
8 ounces water chestnuts, diced
1 ounce ranch salad dressing mix
Directions
  1. Let the cream cheese soften by removing it from the refrigerator.

  2. Defrost the spinach (preferably in the microwave) and squeeze out as much water as possible.

  3. Dice the red bell pepper and water chestnuts.

  4. In a large mixing bowl, add together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, spinach, diced red bell pepper, diced water chestnuts, and the dry ranch salad dressing mix. Stir together until well blended.

  5. Chill before serving.
