Basic Sauce
| 1 1/2 | tsp olive oil |
| 4 | tsp sugar |
| 29 | oz. canned tomato sauce |
| 29 | oz. canned diced tomatoes |
| 3/4 | medium onion |
| 2 | tbsp diced garlic |
| 1 | tbsp oregano |
| 1 | tbsp basil |
| 1/2 | tbsp parsley |
| 1 | cup water |
- Saute onions and garlic in olive oil.
- Once onions are basically caramelized, add other ingredients.
- Let simmer for 40 minutes.
