This is the recipe for a small batch of tahini sauce. It is good on salad, tortillas, pitas, sandwiches and falafel. It makes an excellent spread. I found a version of it posted by Noor on Allrecipes.com, but the version I posted here is a reduced sodium, reduced fat version.
| 2 | tbsp tahini |
| 3 | tbsp water |
| 1 | tbsp lime juice (or lemon) |
| 1/2 | tsp garlic powder |
Mix all of the ingredients together. Salt to taste and serve. You should microwave it for less than 30 seconds to warm it for falafel. Refrigerate for sandwich spread.Categories
