Pop Corn Drops

Makes 6 servings

original recipe says 16 calories in 6 cookies.

Ingredients
2 cups popped corn
3 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 tablespoons splenda
Directions
  1. Place popped corn in food processor or food grinder.

  2. Grind into kernel-size pieces.

  3. Beat egg whites until frothy and add baking powder, salt and cream of tartar.

  4. Beat into stiff peeks.

  5. Add sugar replacement, beating until well blended.

  6. Fold popcorn pieces into stiffly beaten egg whites.

  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.

  8. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 12 to 14 minutes or until lightly browned.

  9. Yield: 36 cookies.
