Strawberry Sorbet

Makes 6 servings

This sounds so good and cool on a hot summer's day. This can be made even lower in calorie by using the sugar-free honey. WalMart carries it. It is 50 cal. per Tablespoon.

Ingredients
1 pint Strawberries, fresh
3/4 cup Orange Juice
1/2 cup Skimmed Milk
1/4 cup honey
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon honey
Directions
  1. Remove hulls from berries.

  2. In a blender container, place berries, orange juice, milk and 1/4 cup honey.

  3. Cover; blend 1 minute or till smooth.

  4. Pour mixture into a 9x9x2" pan. cover; freeze 2 to 3 hours or until firm.

  5. In a mixer bowl beat egg whites with electric mixer on medium speed till soft peaks form.

  6. Gradually add 1 Tablespoon hiney, beatig on high speed till stiff peaks form.

  7. Break forzen mixture into chunks; transfer frozen mixture to chilled large mixer bowl.

  8. Beat with electric mixer till smooth.

  9. Fold in ell whites.

  10. Return to pan.

  11. Cover;freeze 6 to 8 hours or till firm.

  12. To serve, scrape across frozen mixture with spoon and mound in dessert dishes.
