Healthier oatmeal cookies.
| 1/3 | cup unsalted butter |
| 1/2 | cup dark brown sugar |
| 1/3 | cup sugar |
| 1 | egg |
| 1 | tsp vanilla extract |
| 3/4 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1/4 | cup flour |
| 1 | tsp baking soda |
| 3/4 | tsp salt |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| 3/4 | cup rolled oats |
| 3/4 | cup raisins |
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
- Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture until well combined.
- Stir in oats, then raisins.
- Roll dough into tablespoon balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10-12 minutes.
