Healthier Oatmeal Cookies Recipe

Healthier oatmeal cookies.

Ingredients
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup raisins
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer.

  3. Beat in egg and vanilla.

  4. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

  5. Stir flour mixture into sugar mixture until well combined.

  6. Stir in oats, then raisins.

  7. Roll dough into tablespoon balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

  8. Bake 10-12 minutes.
