| 1 |
teaspoon baking powder |
| 75 |
ml light olive oil |
| 50 |
g sugar |
| 110 |
g dried berries |
| 1/2 |
teaspoon ground mixed spice |
| 1 |

| 3 |

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F
- Line a baking sheet with baking paper
- Mix the flour and the baking powder together in a bowl
- Add the oil, and rub together with the fingers until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
- Then add the sugar, the berries of your choice, and the mixed spice powder
- Break the egg in a separate bowl or cup and beat with a fork
- Add the milk or water to the beaten egg
- Add the egg and milk or water mix to the other bowl and mix ingredients well together to make a stiff dough
- If the dough is too wet, add some more flour until it’s a fairly dry mixture that can be easily handled and doesn't stick to your hands
- Place small rough heaps of the dough onto the baking sheet about two centimetres apart
- Bake for between ten and fifteen minutes until golden brown
- Use a spatula to transfer to a wire rack to cool
