Delicious and Easy
| 2 | cups red beans |
| 1 | large onion |
| 2 | green bell peppers |
| 2 | lbs. sausage |
| 1 | lb. tasso |
| 12 | oz. turkey bacon |
| 6 | tablespoons country crock |
| 3 | cups celery |
| 8 | cups cooked white rice |
| 3 | tablespoons crumbled bay leaves |
- Boil beans in 6 quart dutch-oven for 2 hours
- Melt margarine and saute veggies in 10 quart pot
- Chop up all meat into bite size pieces and add to veggie mixture
- Add contents of the 6 quart pot to the contents of the 10 mquart pot
- Simmer for 3 hours stirring occasionally, mash beans on side of pot the thicked the mixture as you stir
- Season to taste
