Art Smith's Goat Cheese Drop Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 T. butter
2 oz. goat cheese
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. parmesan cheese
Directions
  1. Prehat oven to 425 degrees. Warm 10 inch cast iron pan in oven while it preheats.

  2. Place flour, salt, baking soda and powder into bowl. Cut in butter and goat cheese. Make a well in the middle of the ingredients and pour in milk. Stir. Drop biscuits by 1/4 C. into pan. Brush the tops with melted butter. Bake 14-16 minutes until browned on top and bottom. Remove from oven and sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve warm.
