Hamburger Buns Recipe

Actually taste the bun

Ingredients
1 T butter
2 t yeast
30 g honey
30 g vital wheat gluten
1 cup whole grain flour
1 1/4 cup unbleached flour
1 cup water
Directions
  1. Warm water to 105 F

  2. Dissolve yeast, salt, honey in water

  3. Add melted butter.

  4. Add flours and VWG reserving 1/4 cup flour

  5. Turn out onto clean counter or board.

  6. Using the last 1/4 cup knead for 10 minutes.

  7. Let rise for an hour in covered bowl in warm place

  8. Roll out to 3/8 inch thick. Using can or large biscuit cutter, cut into 10 rolls.

  9. Place on greased baking sheet. Barely touching.

  10. Let rise 45 minutes.

  11. Bake 20 minutes at 350
