This isn't healthy but it's one of the most successful and delicious recipes I have come across. I always bring this to parties and people go bonkers.

Ingredients
| 3/4 |
cup butter or margarine (1 1/2 sticks), softened |
| 1 |
cup sugar |
| 1/2 |
teaspoon freshly grated lemon peel |
| 1/2 |
teaspoon ground cinnamon |
| 2 |
large egg yolks |
| 1 |
teaspoon vanilla extract |
| 2 |
cups all-purpose flour |
| 1/4 |
teaspoon salt |
| 1 |
cup walnuts, chopped |
| 1/2 |
cup seedless raspberry jam |
Directions
- preheat oven to 350 degrees. evenly grease 9-inch square baking pan
- in large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat butter, sugar, lemon peel and cinnamon until light and fluffy, occasionally scraping bowl with rubber spatula. reduce speed to low; beat in egg yolks and vanilla until well combined, frequently scraping bowl. add flour and salt and beat just until blended, occasionally scraping bowl. stir in walnuts.
- with lightly floured hand, pat half of dough evenly onto bottom of prepared pan. spread raspberry jam over dough, leaving 1/4-inch border all around. with lightly floured hands, pinch off pieces of remaining dough and drop randomly on top of jam (it's okay if dough pieces touch); do not pat.
- bake until crust is golden, 45 to 50 minutes. cool completely in pan on wire rack.
- when cool, cut into 4 strips, then cut each strip crosswise into 6 pieces.
