Baklava Light is a great Christmas gift.

Ingredients
16 ounces Phyllo dough
16 ounces Pecans, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1/2 cups Splenda
1 cup honey
1/2 cup water
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Spray a 13"x 9"x2" pan with nonfat cooking spray.

  3. In a small mixing bowl stir together the cinnamon, Splenda, and pecans.

  4. Place 5 layers of phyllo dough in the middle of the pan, spraying nonfat cooking spray between each layer.

  5. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons of the nut mixture over the dough.

  6. Repeat layering the phyllo dough and the nut mixture three times and place 5 sheets of phyllo over the top of the last nut mixture, making sure that each layer is sprayed with nonfat cooking spray.

  7. Cut the baklava with a sharp knife into sixteen squares, and cut each square diagonally to form a triangle.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. While the baklava is baking bring the honey and water just to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.

  10. When the baklava is done, spoon the hot honey mixture over the hot baklava. Let it cool slightly before handling.
