Makes 24 servings

This is ideal as an appetizer but it can also be used for a main course. Yields 24 meatballs.

Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 onion, grated
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1 c jellied cranberry sauce
3/4 c ketchup
1/4 c brown sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
2 cups pineapple
Directions
  1. In a large bowl combine ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, onion, and seasonings. Form into 1-inch balls.

  2. SAUCE: In a 3-quart saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over low heat 25-30 minutes. Stir often to keep smooth.

  3. Add meatballs and simmer for 1 hour. Serve hot.

  4. NOTE: This can be used for a main course by making the meatballs larger.
