Submitted by taliesinsmuse

Makes 6 servings

Quick Beef Hash recipe. Useful for getting rid of meat in the freezer or leftovers.

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
30 oz. potatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tbsp mustard
Directions
  1. Brown the meat in a frying pan

  2. Drain the meat. While it's draining, fry the shredded potatoes in the same pan.

  3. When potatoes are fully cooked, add the meat back to the pan.

  4. Add the cream, mix into the hash.

  5. Add and mix the mustard (dijon works best)

  6. Cover and heat for another 5-10 minutes until the cream has been absorbed and the hash thickened.

  7. Add preferred spices (seasoned salt, pepper, etc.)

  8. Serve
