- Use a little of the olive oil to brown the vegetables
- Use the remainder of the oil to brown the meat and the sausages in a separate pan.
- Add 1 litre of water with stock cube or stock to the vegetables and combine with meat in large casserole dish
- Add remaining ingredients with herbs and salt and pepper to taste
- Simmer for 1.5 hours
