(I turned half the granny smith apple into 1/4 cup apple sauce with the lemon juice, and used it as a substitution for 1/4 cup oil.)

Ingredients

cup whole wheat flour |

tbsp. honey |

tbsp. flaxseed, ground |
| 6 |
tbsp. water |
| 1/4 |
tsp. salt |
| 1/2 |
cup skim milk |
| 1 |
tbsp. baking powder |
| 1/2 |
granny smith apple |
| 1/2 |
tbsp. lemon juice |
Directions
- (Soak flaxseed with water until absorbed, then:
- Mix all ingredients & bake @ 400 Degrees F for 15 minutes.
- Makes 12 muffins.)
