Panki's Tuna Fish Curry Recipe

Ingredients
300 g tuna steak
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
100 g crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp cilantro
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sugar
1 onion
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
2 tbsp lemon juice
Directions
  1. Cut the tuna steak in bite size pieces.

  2. Mix the lemon juice with half of the turmeric powder and some salt. Roll the fish pieces in the spice mixture and let it rest for about 15 minutes.

  3. Coat the fish in the flour mixed with black pepper and fry the pieces in olive oil till golden brown.

  4. Remove on paper towels. Add some oil and heat it. Add the sugar in the pan and let it caramelize, then fry the onions, the garlic and the ginger.

  5. Add the spices and fry them for a while. then add the tomatoes and the water. Let it boil. Then put the fish back in the pan.

  6. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
