| 4 | tbsp canola oil |
| 1/8 | tsp lemon zest |
| 1/2 | cup oatmeal |
| 1/4 | cup bran |
| 1 1/2 | cups whole wheat flour |
| 5 | tbsp ground flax seed |
| 2 | tbsp poppy seed |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 1 | tbsp baking powder |
| 1/2 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1/2 | cup 1% milk |
| 1 | medium apple |
| 3 | tbsp lemon juice |
| 2 | tbsp brown sugar |
- combine egg, oil, white sugar and chopped apple.
- combine all dry ingredients except brown sugar.
- combine wet and dry ingred.
- bake 12 min at 375
- combine lemon juice and brown sugar and drizzle over top.
