Banana Chip Muffins Recipe

Banana oat muffins with chocolate chips

Ingredients
1 egg
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup sugar
3 medium ripe bananas (1/3 cups), mashed
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Beat egg, oil & sugar until smooth. Stir in bananas. Combine the, oats, baking soda, baking powder, & salt; stir into banana mixture just until moistened. Stir in chocolate chips.

  2. Fill greased muffin cups 3/4 full. Bake at 375 for 18-20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan onto wire rack.
