Beans and Rice Recipe

Filling, satisfying, delicious

Ingredients
1 cup cooked black beans
1 cup white rice
1 yellow onion, diced
3 tablespoons canola oil
1 salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups water
Directions
  1. Combine rice and onion into a pot of heated oil, fry in mediem-high heaat until brown stirring constantly.

  2. Drain and rinse beans.

  3. Add beans and water to the rice mixture.

  4. Add salt and pepper to taste, bring to a boing.

  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for approximately 15 minutes or until water is completely absorbed.
