Egg in a Basket Recipe

toast and egg in one

Ingredients
1 slice bread
1 large egg
1/2 T butter
Directions
  1. melt 1/2 T of butter in a skillet

  2. cut a hole in the center of a slice of bread

  3. put the bread in the pan, break an egg into the bread's hole

  4. cook on medium heat, flipping once, until nicely browned on both sides and the egg yolk is cooked.
