Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe

Stuffed Green Peppers

Ingredients
5 green bell peppers
1 medium onion
1 cup uncooked rice
14 1/2 oz diced tomatoes
8 oz tomato sauce
16 oz ground lean turkey
Directions
  1. cook rice according to instructions on package.

  2. cut out seeds of peppers but leave pepper intact like a cup.

  3. boil peppers in hot water for 5 minutes.

  4. brown turkey and onions in a skillet.

  5. add spices to taste (salt, pepper, oregano, garlic, worchestire sauce).

  6. add rice to meat mixture along with diced tomatoes.

  7. arrange peppers in oven safe pan.

  8. fill peppers with mixture.

  9. pour tomato sauce evenly over peppers.

  10. bake for 25 min at 350 degrees.
