This bread recipe is one of the only bread recipes that will yield a thoroughally cooked, moist, raised loaf of banana bread. I LOVE IT!!!
| 4 | bananas |
| 1 | tbs. baking soda |
| 4 | eggs |
| 4 | cups flour |
| 1/2 | cup almonds |
| 2 | cups sugar |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 1 | cup 1% milk |
| 1/2 | cup vegetable oil |
| 3 | tsp. cinnamon |
- Combine bananas, sugar, soda, and salt and blend in mixer at medium speed for one minute.
- add eggs, one at a time, then mix flour, oil and milk. Beat 2 minutes then fold in nuts.
- Pour batter into greased, floured loaf pans and sprinkle the top with cinnamon and/or brown sugar.
- Bake on center rack for 2.5 hours at 275 degrees.
