a spicy side dish from andhra pradesh

Ingredients
1/2 lb eggplant (big long )
2 teaspoons chilli powder
2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic
Directions
  1. wash theeggplant apply some oil all over, put it in an oven at 500° F (broil) for about 15 minutes, the altar coverings should become almost black.

  2. Turn it in the middle so that all areas are broiled equally.

  3. puree the masala and put a spoonful in each eggplant in the center.

  4. Use this and this and a spoon of ghee in hot white rice
