delicious wartime recipe coconut biscuits

Ingredients
170 grams oats
160 grams
200 grams
200 grams
200 grams
3 tbsp
2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
Directions
  1. mix dry ingredients in a large bowl

  2. melt butter then stir in corn syrup

  3. mix bicarb with 4 tbsps boiling water and add to butter/syrup mix

  4. add wet to dry and mix well

  5. place dessertspoonfulls on greased baking trays and bake for 10-15 minutes at gas 4/180c
