Protein Fruit Smoothie Recipe

Submitted by fighead

Makes 1 serving

My daily post workout snack....a delicious fruit smoothie, same consistency as a milshake! Uses Designer Whey Protein Powder, great way to get both your post-weight protein and carbs. 222 calories.

Ingredients
26 g designer whey protein powder, in strawberry or vanilla
1/2 medium banana, frozen
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup mango, sliced, frozen
1 ice cube
1/3 cup cold water
Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree. Be sure all your fruit is frozen, or the consistency will not be as good!

  2. Get out a pretty glass and enjoy! Feel free to mix up the fruit, but I feel that the orange juice gives just the protein powder right amount of sugar.
