Ingredients

lbs stew meat, cubed |
| 1 |
tbsp cooking oil |
| 1 |
cup mushrooms, sliced |
| 1 |
tbsp onion, minced |
| 2 |
tsp garlic, minced |
| 1 |
tsp oregano |
| 1/2 |
tsp salt |
| 1/2 |
tsp pepper |
| 1/2 |
tsp thyme |
| 16 |
oz sherry |
| 1 1/2 |
cup fat free sour cream |
| 1/2 |
cup flour |
| 1/4 |
cup water |
| 4 |
cup egg noodles |
Directions
- Brown beef in hot oil and drain fat
- Combine beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, oregano, salt pepper, thyme, beef broth, sherry and bay leaf in slow cooker.
- Cover; cook on High 4-5 hours.
- Discard bay leaf.
- Mix together sour cream, flour and water.
- Stir one cup of the hot liquid into sour cream mixture.
- Cover; cook on High for 30 mins.
- Serve over noodles.
