Hobo Dinner Recipe

Makes 4 servings


Foil wrapped and baked green beans, potatoes, onions & 'meatball' patties.

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
2 large potatoes
4 cups green beans
2 medium yellow onion
4 tbsp. margarine
2 egg whites
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 tsp. steak seasoning
1 tsp. garlic seasoning
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Lay out 4 large piece of foil and lightly spray with cooking spray.

  3. Equally divide the veggies and layer sliced potatoes, diced onions, and green beans on foil pieces.

  4. Place 1 tbsp. margarine on each foil mixtue and sprinkle with the garlic seasoning mix.

  5. In a bowl add steak seasoning, egg whites, and breadcrumbs to the hamburger and mix well.

  6. Divide hamburger mixture in 4 equal pieces; place on top of veggie mix.

  7. Seal the veggies/meat in the foil creating packets.

  8. Place packets on cookie sheet and bake for approximately one hour.

  9. Use caution when opening due to steam.
