Mark's Salmon Cakes Recipe

Makes 8 servings


Salmon cakes-nice and light

Ingredients
1/4 cup of chopped green onions
1/4 cup of chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
7 1/10 ounces of skinless, boneless pink salmon
1 egg
3/4 cups dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup of mayonnaise
Directions
  1. In bowl, combine bell pepper, green onions, mayonnaise,lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper

  2. Stir in pink salmon, egg, and 1/4 cup of bread crumbs

  3. Divide and form mixture into 8 balls

  4. Roll salmon balls in remaining bread crumbs

  5. Flatten into cakes about 1/2 inch thick

  6. In buttered(spammed) skillet on medium heat cook until browned

  7. Flip and cook until golden brown

  8. Serve with your favorite sauce
