Lasagna made with Turkey, italian sausage, and cauliflower. No pasta here!
| 1 | lb Ground Turkey |
| 1/2 | lb Italian Sausage |
| 3 | cups cauliflower |
| 2 | cups tomato sauce |
| 2 | cups diced tomatoes |
| 2 | cups ricotta cheese |
| 1/4 | cup cottage cheese, lowfat |
| 1/4 | cup egg beaters, |
| 2 | cups shredded cheese blend, |
| 1 | tbsp onion powder |
| 1 | tbsp garlic powder |
- Brown the turkey and sausage together
- add onion and garlic powder
- add tomato products
- simmer for 5-10 minutes
- combine ricotta, cottage cheese and egg beaters in a bowl
- mix well
- chop cauliflower into small pieces
- in a 9X13 baking dish
- layer meat sauce, then cauliflower, then cheese mixture
- continue layering until all ingredients used
- top with shredded cheese blend
- bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Serving size is approximnately 1/2 cup
