Candida's "Fake Out" Lasagna Recipe

Makes 16 servings


Lasagna made with Turkey, italian sausage, and cauliflower. No pasta here!

Ingredients
1 lb Ground Turkey
1/2 lb Italian Sausage
3 cups cauliflower
2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups diced tomatoes
2 cups ricotta cheese
1/4 cup cottage cheese, lowfat
1/4 cup egg beaters,
2 cups shredded cheese blend,
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
Directions
  1. Brown the turkey and sausage together

  2. add onion and garlic powder

  3. add tomato products

  4. simmer for 5-10 minutes

  5. combine ricotta, cottage cheese and egg beaters in a bowl

  6. mix well

  7. chop cauliflower into small pieces

  8. in a 9X13 baking dish

  9. layer meat sauce, then cauliflower, then cheese mixture

  10. continue layering until all ingredients used

  11. top with shredded cheese blend

  12. bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

  13. Serving size is approximnately 1/2 cup
