Spicy Meatballs with Sesame Dip

Nice apatizer or side dish

Ingredients

For Sesame Dip:
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. dark sesame oil
1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 scallion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp. sesame seeds, toasted
1/4 tsp. ground ginger

For Spicy Meatballs:
2 lbs. ground beef 90%
1 onion, grated
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 egg, beaten
1 c. bread crumbs (made from toast)
2 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, chopped
1 Salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp. olive oil for frying
Directions
  1. Whisk all ingredients together to make sesame dip, and set aside.

  2. Combine all meatball ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Roll mixture into small balls.

  4. Heat oil in a skillet, and cook meatballs, in batches, over medium heat for five minutes on until firm and cooked through.

  5. Serve warm with Sesame dip.
