| 1 | tbsp baking powder |
| 1/4 | tsp. salt |
| 2 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1 | eggs, beaten well |
| 3 | tbsp unsweetened applesauce |
| 1 | tbsp canola oil |
| 1 | cup milk |
| 2 | tbsp milk |
| 2 | tsp milk |
| 1 1/3 | cup cherry, pitted and chopped |
| 2/3 | cup walnuts, chopped |
| 2 | tbs brown sugar |
| 2 | tsp brown sugar |
| 2/3 | tsp cinnamon |
- Reserve last two ingredients for topping.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
- Add cherries and nuts.
- Pour into muffin pans with paper liners. Place 1 tsp of topping mixture on each muffin.(just use sugar for topping if trying vanilla instead of cinnamon)
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. (Makes 12 muffins.)
