This recipe sounds a lot more decadant than it really is... Cut the slice into 12 and each square has 70 calories.
| 1/4 | cup oats |
| 2 | tbs oats |
| 3 | tbs flour |
| 2 | tbs brown sugar |
| 3 | tbs coconut flakes |
| 3 | tbs dried apricots |
| 2 | tbs pecans |
| 1 1/2 | tbs melted butter |
| 3 | tbs chocolate chips |
| 1/4 | tsp baking powder |
- Line a square baking tin or a loaf tin with foil or baking parchment. Preheat oven to 350.
- Chop fruit and nuts finely. Mix all dry ingredients except chocolate chips.
- Melt butter in microwave and beat egg in a small bowl.
- Mix butter and egg into dry ingredients and press into the lined pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove slice from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Put it back into the oven for two minutes to melt the chocolate.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the slice and cut it into 12 pieces.
