Submitted by restless_girl

Makes 12 servings

Sugar free cake, for those with sugar sensitivity... like my little brother.

Ingredients
9/10 cup of honey
1/2 cup of melted butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup of flour
3 small apples
3/4 cup of raisins
1/2 cup of milk
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Directions
  1. In a bowl combine half a cup of melted butter, 1 cup (roughly) of honey and mix until it has turned into a syrup.

  2. Add eggs and mix again (do not add eggs if mixture is hot! you'll cook 'em).

  3. Next, add dry ingredients (Flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt).

  4. Peel and chop two apples and add to the batter along with .75 cup of raisins.

  5. Pour in milk and combine.

  6. Peel and slice the last apple and place the slices over the top of the cake in any pattern you desire.

  7. Pop into the oven at 350f and bake for 30-45 minutes until cake is pulling away from the tin or a skewer comes out clean.
