Sugar free cake, for those with sugar sensitivity... like my little brother.
| 9/10 | cup of honey |
| 1/2 | cup of melted butter |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 1/2 | cup of flour |
| 3 | small apples |
| 3/4 | cup of raisins |
| 1/2 | cup of milk |
| 2 | teaspoons of baking powder |
| 2 | teaspoons of cinnamon |
| 1/4 | teaspoon of salt |
- In a bowl combine half a cup of melted butter, 1 cup (roughly) of honey and mix until it has turned into a syrup.
- Add eggs and mix again (do not add eggs if mixture is hot! you'll cook 'em).
- Next, add dry ingredients (Flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt).
- Peel and chop two apples and add to the batter along with .75 cup of raisins.
- Pour in milk and combine.
- Peel and slice the last apple and place the slices over the top of the cake in any pattern you desire.
- Pop into the oven at 350f and bake for 30-45 minutes until cake is pulling away from the tin or a skewer comes out clean.
