| 1 | lb lean ground beef |
| 1/4 | head cabbage, chopped |
| 1 | onion, sliced |
| 2 | cloves garlic |
| 1 | carrot, shredded |
| 8 | leaves cabbage |
- Brown the ground beef, drain fat and set aside. Saute remaining ingredients except for whole cabbage leaves until soft. Add desired spices and return hamburger to pan; heat through.
- Steam cabbage leaves until just tender. Place 1/8 of mixture on each leaf and fold into a packet. Secure with toothpick. Serve as is, or heat at 400 for 10 minutes.
