| 165 | g wholewheat flour |
| 2 | tsp baking powder |
| 70 | g brown sugar |
| 7 | g oat bran |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| 1 | tsp allspice |
| 1/2 | tsp ginger |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 135 | g oats |
| 140 | g dried apricots, chopped finely |
| 70 | g almonds, sliced |
| 175 | ml apple puree, unsweetened |
| 115 | ml apple juice, unsweetened |
| 3 | eggs |
| 2 | tsp oil |
- Line a shallow 8" x 12" tin with baking parchment
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, bran and spices in a large bowl. Stir in the oats, dried apricots and almonds
- Mix the apple sauce, apple juice, eggs and oil and add to the flour mixture. Pour into the baking tray and spread evenly
- Bake at 200C/Gas 6 for 15 - 20 minutes or until slightly browned. Let cool and cut into bars
