Yorkshire Pudding Homemade Recipe

Makes 10 servings


English style HOMEMADE yorkshire pudding, makes about 10 servings, depending on size of slice. Cook roast beef and after approx. 1-1/2 hours pour off 1/2 drippings, and save. 2 inch slices makes 10 servings

Ingredients
2 cups 2% milk
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
3 large eggs
1/2 cup beef broth
Directions
  1. First preheat oven top rack to 400*

  2. Or wait till roast is done, remove if cooking in oven and then turn from 350* to 400* for pudding!

  3. Mix milk, flour, salt and eggs in bowl.

  4. Heat 9x9 inch non stick pan.

  5. Pour 1/2 cup of roast beef drippings into hot pan and add ingredients from bowl.

  6. mix slightly, put into preheated oven.

  7. Cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until brown and toothpick withdraws clean from centre.

  8. Serves approx. 8-12 servings depending on size each serving is cut.

  9. 10, 2 inch servings is recommended for these calories listed.

  10. Serve with roast beef and gravy with whipped potatoes for a complete well balancd meal!
