Vinegar Pepper Sauce Recipe

N.C. style BBQ Sauce - good on any meat.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
10 tbsp ketchup
1/2 tspn cayenne pepper
1 tspn red pepper flakes
1 tbspn white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 tspn salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the vinegar, ketchup, cayenne, red pepper flakes, sugar, and water.

  2. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until sugar dissolves. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.

  3. Use to baste meat while grilling
