N.C. style BBQ Sauce - good on any meat.
| 1 1/2 | cups cider vinegar |
| 10 | tbsp ketchup |
| 1/2 | tspn cayenne pepper |
| 1 | tspn red pepper flakes |
| 1 | tbspn white sugar |
| 1/2 | cup water |
| 1/2 | tspn salt |
| 1/2 | tsp pepper |
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the vinegar, ketchup, cayenne, red pepper flakes, sugar, and water.
- Simmer for 15 minutes, or until sugar dissolves. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Use to baste meat while grilling
