I am 28 years old and trying to lose a few pounds this summer. I am counting my calories (1300 Monday through Friday and watching what I eat on the weekends) and working out 4-6 days a week. I am 5'4 and weigh 124 pounds. I have put on about 8 pounds the past two years and want to lose it. My boyfriend and I recently bought bikes. I have been riding three days a week for about an hour each time. On those days I also do winsor Pilates. I go to the gym 3 days a week. For cardio I do 30 minutes on the elliptical. I also do yoga once a week, and I lift arms one day and legs the other day. Of course I also include abs. I have to keep things interesting and different or I get bored very easily. Since I like to be outside ALLLL the time, I love riding my bike! Since I have gotten a little older, I am finding it harder to keep the pounds off. I use to go out to eat a lot and social drank way too much. I limited my drinking and eating out to once a week. Sometimes two if it is a special occasion. On a personal note my boyfriend and I are in the process of building a house. We will be married in the next two years. I hope to lose some weight by then and be able to keep it off!!
