About

Bio

I was a skinny boney little kid growing up. When I hit puberty though, it all went out the window. Since then I have been a little chunky, and never could attain that ideal lean toned up body I've always wanted. It seems like I've been off and on diets all my adult life and would go from one thing to another. A lot of things would cause me to lose a certain amount of weight, stay there and then I'd gain it all back because I'd give up. One that I was particularly successful in was the master cleanse that I tried in 2007. I lost 21 lbs and kept it off for a few months... then I went back to my old ways. The most I've weighed was 160. I'm 5'3" and a very small frame, so I decided to try something, ANYTHING. Then we decided to set a date for our wedding - April 12th, 2008. I lazily tried the fat smash diet and started to work out, but was never consistant. Then I got in a pretty bad car accident and completely stopped working out (due to pain) and became even more lazy with my eating habits. I was 145 up until the holidays and then gained 6 lbs. Coming up on New Years, I decided to light a fire under my butt. Our wedding date was fast approaching and I needed help. I went to see a nutritionist on Dec 26th with my honey, and he gave us some tips and prescribed us Phentermine. I continued my food routine (lots of veggies, fruits, yogurt and water), but was more strict about it... and started Phentermine on Jan 5th. I took it for about a month and a half and got down to 140 (11 lbs lost). Then I continued to lose through diet and exercise (at 136 currently). I got real into DDR (I can do it no matter how worn out I am when I get home), and bought a few home dvd work out programs such as "Rock your Body," and invested in a Bowflex and a Bender Ball. I have a goal to get down to 120 by my wedding date. Hopefully I can do it!

My future hubby loses weight waaay too easy. He went to the doc with me, was at 220 and is now at 190. Men have all the advantages.
