Hey all, I'm looking for others with similar goals (not stats, anybody who's 10 or less from their goal) so we can keep each other company for the last leg of the weight-loss extravaganza. A small group would be great fun! (Let's keep it to just the first 10 or so who join - if I even get that many takers!)

Hey everybody -- oh, man, I've definitely been having a bad streak. Skipped Combat the other night because I hurt myself in Pump -- tried to up my weight, which was a bad move, ended up doing something weirdo to my hip. Feels a lot better today, though.
Plus, I am about to go on a vacation streak. On Friday I leave for my family reunion, and when I get back me and the BF are headed to CA to visit my folks. I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of temptation to resist. Luckily, my whole family is basically on a healthy plan right now -- so it'll mostly be the eating out to worry about. Plus, the BF is very fit and active, so he'll probably keep me moving with hikes and such.
Steph - you are DEF gaining muscle - I think that's what I have going on, too - b/c I've been the same weight for about a month, but I know I'm tighter and more toned.

Wow Amayou, that sounds like an awesome workout. And Sept, yours do too - are they the GoodLife fitness ones? I went to a couple of those when I lived in Toronto. The "city" (ha ha, small town) that I live in right now doesn't have too many fitness classes, and the ones they were offering near me are on a summer break for a month. Actually, before they went on break I signed up for one and it got cancelled due to low enrolment.
Stephie that must be a nice feeling, being able to wear ANYTHING in your closet. I'm at that special time of the month where I'm restricted to the bloat-concealing clothes ... sigh. Always get hungrier for these couple of days too - yesterday I had eaten 1400 calories by 2pm! I woke up really energized this morning though and did 10 minutes of exercise on my own to some really loud music - jumping jacks, jogging on the spot, rope-less jump rope. I also packed my gym clothes so will hopefully make it today after work.
Welcome back septi. If you can go on some of the websites of the restaurants you plan on going to that way you can check out some of the nutritional info. Enjoy your vaca.
Veg it was pretty fun I'm thinking of doing sports cardio today (plus I saw a cute guy in the class lol) I'm hoping this motivates me to go today, wednesday was supposed to be my chill out day but I'm supposed to be "working out like a maniac" this week. Kudos to you for doing your own workout
Ok so I went to the sports cadio class, yesterday and the cutie I was hoping to see wasn't there, but a lady taught the class and she really worked us, I'm pretty sore right now but I plan on going to class today as week. I snuck on the scale today 147.4 WTF oh yeah next week is TOTM so I'm not gonna freak out, lol. I also had some salt and vinegar chips must have been a craving.
God I want to see 145 again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Next week
Hay, so I didn't binge again yesterday! I went for a 4mile run!!! in 38mins 20 (thats good for me) although I was completely dead at the end of it. And today I am down from 159 to 157.8 thats more like it! Doing good today, have a better attitude than I did last week - thanks for the encouragement guys! Nice one on the work outs!! Are we still weighing in tomorrow?
I'm weighing in tomorrow despite it being a bad time of month - it's my incentive for being good today! I splurged on EIGHT (small) cookies yesterday, totally over and above my calorie budget. I guess I was hungry because I exercised, but I don't think that left me with a calorie deficit :(
Stephie, I'm so impressed that you run, I wish I had the endurance. Amayou, too bad about the cute guy, but I guess you have to keep going back and seeing if he shows up!
Yeah I'm still weighin in tomorrow despite TOTM next week. Good job Steph, I'm going to work out today as well since I'm 99% sure I won't be doing anything Friday. This will be the most I've worked out in one week since like february, hopefully I can make it a habit again. I will have an out for the cuties at the gym today ![]()
whoa steph! A 4 miles instead of binging sounds great! (: I feel a little bad cause I haven't done any exercise today, but it's technically my rest day... if only i didn't also have such stupid cravings for PB or nutella... >"<
anyway, i weighed in at 116lbs this morning (a pound down from last week, but one up from the middle of this week... i take it to be a good sign anyway. :3) hope to hear more good news from you guys!
Hay - weigh in 158 (down 1lb since last week) but up loads from a couple of weeks ago. Managed another 3miler last night in 27mins 35 so definitely gettin fitter. Really bumbed about the weight as I have been eating ok the last few days but I seriously think it could be muscle (plus a bit of water weight - TOTM next week). I measured myself and I am the same measurements as before when I was 153. Very odd! Great job doedoe.

I am absolutely the most sore I've been in a very long time from working out, and bot doe sit hurt so good lol. I find it is hard to stay cute during a massive cardio work out, and your flirtation meter goes down when you're in a room full of size 0's lol. There were some cheerleader types in the class wearing tiny shorts and sports bra tops, and FULL MAKE-UP. Needless to say I decided to take a back seat and just focus on my workout.

Wow, I have absolutely no idea how people can do heavy cardio in full makeup. I always sweat like a pig, turn BRIGHT red and am huffing and puffing and look exhausted (I kind of droop and flail by the end of the hour).
Stephie hurray for going down 1lb and getting faster! Once again, I am superimpressed with your running. And if your the same size at a higher weight I think it must be muscle.

With the exception of Doedoe I guess we're all not quite where we want to be. I'm at 126 again which surprises me as I've definitely been exercising more this week. It is that time of month, so that tends to give me a couple extra pounds. The other thing is, I've been "working out" more, but maybe I've been less active otherwise? I mean, I'll consciously exercise for 40 minutes and count that, but maybe I'm walking to the store less often - I never measured that before. Also never measured myself in inches ... maybe it would be nice to have a baseline since I'm starting some strength training ...
Anyone have any weekend plans or goals? Relaxing or going on adventures? Being stricter with food or splurging?
veg-geek: well, i guess i reached my goal... kinda? my goal was 110~112lbs initially, but it's more like 112~115lbs now...
I think that we're all much more toned/fitter even if we haven't lost that much weight? I definitely feel more fit (and energetic)now than i did a month or two ago! (:
Great news guys - down to 156 today and haven't snacked too badly either which is brill! Dont lots of running again today. Feeling better about getting back on track.

My motivation level is still kinda low after last weeks gain, but I'm still gonna keep working out and watching my calories. The weekend was not good but I'm gonna leave that in the past lol. For some reason my cycle was non- existant, weird, I'm kinda looking forward to it this week maybe I can drop a pound or 2, lol (definitely not preggo)
Hay guys back up to 157 today but totm tomorrow so I'll shrug that one off. Had a good day yesterday - no refined sugar at all (thats huge for me). Did eat a bit too much bread though.

Man I'm not thinkin about that guy, lol and he clearly isn't thinkin about me. I'm the kind of female that prefers a guy that pay attention to me, and he clearly wasn't diggin me. I picked up a magazine yesterday at Publix for $1.99 and it had a workout DVD in it "4 weekes to a bikini body" I'm such a sucker. I started doin it yesterday and it was really intense, let see if it works lol. The DVD suggests also doing a 20 minute cardio work out so I jogged for 15 minutes and then did the DVD.
