Lacking weekend motivation? Sign up here!

A few of us have been chatting about how difficult we find weekends.  Our problems range from not drinking enough water to simply not logging on to CC at the weekend.  Other favourites include not exercising, drinking too much alcohol and not exactly staying on track food-wise!  I'm pretty sure I've stayed away from CC at weekends because I knew my "friends" would kick my butt, get me moving and help me stay on track and I didn't REALLY want to!

If any of this sounds familiar, then come and join us.  I'm committing to logging on more at weekends, in order to stay focussed but I need people to chat with - interested?

And if you have any bright ideas on how to stay on track at weekends, then please post them here - otherwise, chat to you at the weekend!

ME TOO --  well, we have NO groceries in the house, so we ate out twice yesterday -- 2nd time, deadly Mexican.

CHALLENGE -->  do better today!!!!!!!   I am going to workout extra, drink tons of water and it will be fine.   I am going to go get healthy food stockings for the pantry and I will probably keep my cals low and full of fiber/veggies/fruit.

We can do it!!!!!!!

(hummus is the delicious devil!)

*thanks olivia who is very nice*

yep, we can do it. today i will not make much difference (it is evening here) BUT i just had a nice experience during my "shopping therapy" that got em motivated.

i went to one of my favourite shops (just a few months ago,i was only able to buy bags there, as the clothes were too small) and looked for some cardigans. i have chosen one and reached for the XXL size. a saleslady came to me and kindly suggested that was to big and i should try a smaller size.

hahaha.

thied the smaller one, and although i did not buy it (the colour did not look very good on me), the size was right!

ended up buying another one though (again, smaller than i thought). wow. this made my day. the saleslady did not know how helpful her comment was for me today.

so, i now do not feel like a) bing huge, b) eating more

:)

WOO HOO to smaller sizes!   ( :

I got up and the first thing I did was clean my fridge from top to bottom.  I had to so I could put new, healthy food in there.   Then I went shopping for foods.   YAY.   Restocked.   The fridge is full of yummy, good for me food again.

self challenge - --  Log all my cals for at least M, T, W this week and be honest.    Try not to drink so much.   It is the weekend, so I hate to admit but today my cals so far have all come from coffee or alcohol.  terrible.   I am debating on what to eat because we are going bowling.  Maybe with my parents.   Meaning more than likely we will eat somewhere afterwards.  what to do?   I need to cut back on cals and stope guesstimating.

I cannot wait to get some retail therapy of my own tomorrow at the thrift store that has 50% discount on Mondays for college students (me).      ( :

PS thanks again. it feels much better now.

i had a normal sized dinner and will not snack afterwards, and plan to stick to my calories tomorrow - i want nice xperiences, nice feeling and nice clothes:)

good luck to you and do not be too hrad on yourself:) the weigh loss journey is long and hard itself:)

It is upon us  (almost)

: D

I always look forward to hearing how all of you are doing on the weekend.

I am going to do my best to be good and make the last weekend of my Summer 2008 AWESOME!!!!   ( :

We're driving to Winston-Salem, NC tomorrow evening & back on Saturday (I suppose?) Travelling is always tough for me to eat well. I should take some popcorn or something because I always feel like grazing the whole trip. I think the drive is a little over 7 hours: that's a lot of grazing!

Pack lots of yummy snacks --- I know you did anyway.   ( :

I was super well behaved last night at the bowling alley  (no drinking or nachos).   I even did well at Wendy's after.

Woke up at 9AM which is super late for me, BUT I got right on the bike right away ----  12 miles/30 min/440 cals.

Off now to shower and get some coffee.    ( :

Am I still challenging you, or should we do something new?????   : D

Note:   I really miss caro and wish she would come back.   ) :    (anyone talk to her?)

have been doing good claorie-wise. visited family, lots of walking, some gardening. it was raining so it was not as much a si wanted but still. today is ok, and i will be at work till morning, so cals under control:) 197 lbs, hope it will go on goinh down

re trying something new... why not? any ideas? i will be here for a further 12 hrs, just with some pauses work-related)

I didn't really have ideas for something new --  just wanted something new?  lol  ( :

how about as many pushups as you can do + some ab work?

ahem... not really for me, i am sorry:)

OK< ladies --- the weekend is upon us.

My bf is a total jerk right now, so in an effort not to harm him, my self challenge this weekend is to up my workouts to at least 60 minutes (bike or jog) and lift/Bowflex at least twice a day.

how are all of you?   ( :

Good news from me -->  I saw a NEW  number today on the scale -- 164.8.  It will probably rebound a little tomorrow, but I am ok with that.  I upped my cals a little this week to see if that would help the furnace burn a little better and it worked!!!!   hurray!!!!

hello! that is great news that you have seen a new all time low!

me,i am feeling very homey today, so i will spend time reading and surfing the net till the evening when i will go to woork (wpould like to meet a friend for a walk but it is pouring down wih rain so i expect her to want to walk tomorrow. sent her a text saying  would like to go today but i know her and thing wke will not be going).

i walked more than anticipated duting the last few days, so i am ok with that

walking is one of my fave fun workouts -- good for you!!!

saw another new number today ---  164.2.

challenge ---- do a few more minutes than usual -- whatever your workout is......   (I did an hour today vs. 30ish minutes.  I jogged AND rode the bike --30 min. each)

okay, will do it!

ka -- you rock!!!  ( :   thanks for being my constant companion.  ( :

i am so happy to be meeting you here:)
