i lost a lb. thought id lose more but oh well. Iv gt plnty of tym. thanx 4 welcoming me so warmly. I already feel prt of the family.

I replaced the batteries in my scale, and I am also on my Period. It says 192.
I looked at my weight chart, and I have been at it for 3 months!... The best thing is I have 3 recorded Periods! And This 192 is the lowest Period bump so far, so even though I did gain ~5 lbs (water) it is still one pound less then my period weight from last month... So that is good (still loosing!). In a day or too I should be back to 187. Then Down to 178.
I am seeing a Surgen about a breast reduction, and wanted to see what yall think. I am a 40 D, or rather a 38 DD, but I don't have the heart to go up to DD.

Anyway I have had back pain on and off for a long time, and my Bust has grown again recently, I have streach marks to prove it. My moms got bigger threw out her life as well. When she was my age she had a reduction from a DD to a C, at 56 she is back at a solid D. When I was 20 I was a 36 C Nice and comphy, in 9 years I have gone all the way too 40D, or 38 DD. My Boss a Woman (who should have known better) told me I have to make sure to dress VERY conservitavly because I am not "Twiggy" (the model) I said, "Ya I am trying to loose weight." she says, "no your bust."
Sigh.
This is a Big Surgery. If you know it it isn't the nice little slice and slip from Breast augmentation. They completly deconstruct your breasts take out the extra and then rebuild them. My moms scaring is pretty terrible. But that was 20 years ago.
I know some women loose in their chests when they loose weight, but that just isn't so with my family. I mean I am loosing weight AND my boobs are getting bigger. That's just WRONG.

Ah... boob talk... Lilsmiter, I'm a 40DD, down to a 40D, but yeah, it's still big. My problem though is that my breasts lose weight at different rates! I have a DD and a C-D right now, and it seems like my smaller is shrinking faster! Lilsmiter, I say you should wait on your breasts until you are at the weight you want to be. I hear that weight fluctuation does weird things to breasts that have had surgical procedures. My aunt lost a lot of weight after a mammechtomy (however you spell it - when they remove most of your breast b/c of cancer) and she still had a little bit left at the surgery, and that area was inverted when she lost weight... but then again, it's probably because she had most of her breast taken out in the first place. Glad your move went well!
My weight is at a standstill, but it's only been this way for two weeks. I guess it's not too bad. I'll start losing again straightaway.
I agree with Leopard, almost all women lose cup sizes with the lose of weight. In fact, some women in the end don't need a reduction. Some might need a breast lift, but I doubt you will need a reduction when you are done losing the weight.
I used to be a 44D. I am now a 38DD...thanks to my birth control. Joy.
Get my new scale soon, and hoping that my parents scale (which told me I was 177.4 and 34% body fat OMG!!!) was wrong. I doubt it was though.
My goals are 150, and 22% body fat, which is healthy and deliciously light (compared to my starting weight of 250, bleh)
On the plus side, I went shopping and have this cute vintage-y polka dot dress that says it's a size 10. I think it's lying to me. The bastard.

Glad to see we have the same goal. I've been doing pretty well on my diet. The past few days my weight has been going up and down like crazy. I weighed in today at 174.8!!! I hope I don't get kicked out of here now. Hahaha. My weighed has been fluctuating from 173-178 this past week. It's driving me insane!
I made the mistake of baking some blondies last night with dark chocolate M&Ms in them. I had one square last night and one today at lunchtime. I know I shouldn't, but I keep skipping breakfast so I can have more calories for lunch and supper. I have lunch around noon everyday before I go to work, a healthy low-cal one, but by about 3 I'm daydreaming of food. Can you think of any low-cal snacks that I can easily bring to work? I bring green tea bags and sometimes the mini bags of popcorn, but I can't think of anything else.
Meg85 - I think you'll make it, if you refrain from the blondies and eat breakfast. I do have a problem with skipping lunch, so I'm in a similar boat. But if I get up at 9, eat by 10, and then eat again at 4:30, then it's counterintuitive to eat at 12 or 1 o'clock.
Today I ate well, 1376 calories, with a 500 calorie workout. I was going to add on 200 extra calories by having a slimfast for the evening but after the workout I wasn't really hungry...
I hope to be half a pound smaller tomorrow. :-)

Ladyelizabeth - Maybe you are still fine! I expected to huge weight gain this weekend because of Valentines Day, but here I am, lighter than last week, by more than half a pound, and lighter than YESTERDAY by 1.2 lb!
I myself make "official" weigh ins, and I sneak almost everyday through the middle. My official weigh in days are Wednesday and Sunday, and my unofficials are any morning that I look in the mirror and decide... "How much does this body weigh?"
That puts me 12.2 pounds down, and 3.8 pounds from my February 29th goal, of 182.
176.2 this morning. Struggling to get back to the 175 I was a week ago. Keeps popping up and down, I feel like a yo-yo in the worst sense. Should get the scale today. Fedex tracking is mocking me~! It's HERE in south san francisco...only like 20 minutes away! :(

Leopard~ Hurray for you! Don't be too bummed if it pops back up a tiny bit tomorrow though, weight does that when you mysteriously drop more than a bit in one day. Great job though! :D
Ladyelizabeth~ I weigh everyday. I like to see how what foods I eat effects my weight. Sodium full foods make me gain like 3 pounds in one night!

But I have been pretty good, and my scale still says that I am water heavy. It'll drop later this week.
As far as waiting untill after I get to my goal weight for the Surgery, Ya I was kind of thinking about that, I think it will look better, but I really don't think they are going to get smaller. No one in my family Ever lost bust size to to weight loss. I have 8 aunts and they all have this weird thing, except for one. that and all my aunts who had children got larger breasts while pregnant but they never got smaller. It's a messed up genetics thing. Even at my lowest weight (165 WAY too skinny) my boobs just kept getting bigger.
But, I need to get rid of this belly fat before the operation.
I weigh in Every day, I am a bit obsessive about it.

Last night was good, Tai Chi and Black Belt Paqua, I didn't wear a Weight vest for black belt because i was having a headache. I left a bit early but still a good hour and a half of Kung Fu.
I am buying an Eliptical for my spare bedroom! $200 on creg's list, this guy bought it on sale and then put it into storage. lol perfact.
Last night was a Birthday, we had Shao-lin Chocolate cake, otherwise known as Vegan Black forest chocolate cake, it is only the best chocolate cake in the Universe! Of course I had a slice, but I only came in at 1200 because I skipped Dinner last night. SO need to work on that.
But I feel good, I'll get back into the 180s!
I took a hot shower to loosen up whatever was in my throat, but I don't know if it did anything. Coughing still. The campus store is closer to my dorm than the clinic so I might just get some dayquil to get me through the day
With clothes on I'm 185.8 (woot for the second day) so I don't know what my real weight is. I'll take off half a pound b/c I am only wearing pajamas and a tshirt.
I'm not sure if I love or hate my new scale.

Hey Nasuoni! Don't feel bad, I think I'm around 32% body fat :( I don't look at that number anymore because it discourages me more than my actual weight does! Ha ha.
The clinicians at the campus clinic are all quacks. I walked in and stated my symptoms. The doctor gave me a throat swab to see if it was the flu. While it came up negative, they could have given me something to take my fever down. It was at 102 when I was there! Anyways... I got back to my dorm, and I put on the news to check the weather, and the news said EVERY SINGLE symptom I've been having is the sign of the flu. So I think they messed up or something at the clinic because I've not felt this bad since a little kid with chicken pox.

LOL I feel your pain, I have a very simular scale. Don't pay too much attention to the actual body Fat % number it can be off up to 5% bassed on when you worked out last, when you ate last things like that. Also it tends to over estimate the Percent fat in muscular people. It is a stand on scale so it is hitting your legs... your legs are probobly pretty buff. Anyway it isn't the number it is the change in the number. Does yours have %water? Mine does, it says that Women should have 50% water... but I have never had above 48 and that is my most bloated state. So you got to kind of look at what it says over time. I would mix your Scales % body fat with some other form of measurment. and then take the median result. Anyway the scale is an Awsome tool, I love mine.

Oh you poor thing, it is tottaly the flu. Take it easy this week! I can't believe your Weight loss! Wow! talk about kicking butt!
Lets see... My scale this morning says 31% fat, 46% water... So for me that is still a little bit water heavy, it usually says 45% water. And my weight is 192.6... CRY. No not so much, I had a AMAZING review at work and got a great raise and bonus. So I went out and celebrated last night...
. Back to the grind stone this week.
My Big Weakness is Fast food... I am trying to go with out it for as many days as I can! Right now I am at 5 Days!
Anyone want to join me? How long can you go without your biggest Food weakness? Pizza, Desert?
Oh and I baught a Eliptical from Craigs list! I get it next Friday, So excited to have completed my home gym!!! I have Free Weights, a Balance ball to use, and now a cardio machine! That is everything I ever used at the Gym WOO HOO!
In Kung Fu, we are still doing Paqua for another week... Next Saturday is the start of Gloved Sparring Month. I'll let you guys know how my Matches Go!

I'm sooo jealous! I have 5 lb. weights, pilates dvds and bands, and a balance disc at home, but no elliptical, which I want so so badly. It would be so much easier to work out at home than at the gym...Anytime I watch tv? Just stay on the elliptical! XD

I'm 178 and 32.5% fat this morning. And 48.5% water...same as yesterday on the water. I'm so pissed about my weight going back up.
My birthday is tomorrow, so this weekend the healthy eating is going to be super freaking hard. Dammit.
Lilsmiter - My food weakness is healthy so I can't really say I can't go without it. I LOVE pears. (Assuming I could eat, like... not right now). I could eat them over anything else.
I still don't feel my best, but I'm trying to drink liquids. I ran out of water in this water bottle so I can't really take my medication atm (I'm in a car). I just hope I don't get chills and all cough-cough while driving home.
Edit (7:49 p.m. EST): I figured out the way to get enough calories for the day when you're sick - thanks for the idea Lilsmiter! :-). I had some fast food, two small soft tacos and a (supersize) Sprite. Felt good for a little while, then got vastly vastly tired. My second time with Fast Food since my diet began. Not too bad. I got up to 1400 calories, and now all I want to do is sleep.
Hi everyone! Is it too late to join you all?? I just started this almost a week ago and need to make some friends for support. I'm 27 years old, 5'7", and my starting weight is 181lbs. (lost a few lbs. last month). My goal weight is 143lbs.
I've struggled with my weight since my late teens and just can't seem to shake it. I'm not happy with myself and my body at all. I just want to get healthy and learn to love myself again. :)

I've had a bad week and I'm afraid to get on the scale. We had to put our dear rabbit down on Monday. He was 12 and had a wonderful life with us, and as weird as it must sound to those who have never had a domestic rabbit, he was a big part of our family. :(
He was very healthy until waking up with what seemed like a stroke, he could only move his little head. Anyway, sorry to go on about it but I've not paid any attention to diet or working out. Even our cats miss him. :(
Glad to see everyone is doing pretty well. It helps me to want to get back on track just reading your posts. Welcome kboerst !
I (personally) don't think it should ever be 'too late' to join these groups. We're all here to support each other right? :)
