We had a get together at my neighbors Friday and he called and asked me if I wanted my grapejuice (wine) or Whiskey..Well I love my wine and dont buy it alot because it is spendy..So I opted for the cheap Whiskey..Told him it probably had less calories..He laughed...Do try and rememebr to drink more water though...A few weeks ago when we started this forum I was stuck @ 160-162 realized from reading all the posts that I had stopped drinking as much water....It really does make a difference..Crap..speaking of that I left my water bottle at home...UGH..

thanks for the support. I love wine, and vodka. but I have to do this. so I have given up the booze until my trip on the 4th. I eat the zone diet and it is a perfect 1200 cal a day. If I just keep to the diet and exercise I will loose the weight. the drinking is the ONLY thing that is keeping me from my goal. Went to buy a new scale and the ones at BBB suck. Got on the scale this morning and it said 123. last night was 127? who knows. Only the mirror and my pants determine it for me.
okay so i've been neglecting cc lately cause of stress. i'm still staying at 145 and its depressing. i haven't taken my wlak in over a week. no one knows where my boyfriend is (he was on his way from chicago to tucson last tuesday) no one has heard from him, and he hasn't made contact with us. his phone is off, so thats out of the picture. i'm also falling hardcore for my friend eric. to the point that i emailed my boyfriend and told him if i didn't hear from him by the end of this week, i was leaving him for eric. i'm scared and worried, and can't even express this to eric. he just gets upset cause i'm worried about joshua (my boyfreind) and not him. but when its just him and i, i dont think about joshua, and thats been stressing me out. its wrong and its immoral, but i'm wanting only eric. i think thats why im not losing lol. that and eric feeds me junk food
. i have a weakness for taco bell and corn dogs.. i can't help it!

I dont care anymore. I decided to stay with eric. He at least is safe and won't hurt me like Joshua did. I just need to get back to taking my walks. ugh. thats a pain! actually, it may sound horrible, but the taco bell was helping. i'm lactose intolerant. i have a weakness for cheese. i'd eat something cheesy, and i dont digest it. i feel icky for a day, but i still get to indulge.. eric laughs at my theory, but it works! just dont try it. it might kill someone other than me!

Did I mentioned that I pigged out on pasta last night? 3 bowls? there is NO justification for that much!

Hey everyone, its Friday, my first weighday and I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.
I started at 163.5 lbs and this morning weighed in at 162. OK, its only 1.5 lbs but at least its something!
Oh My Goodness!!! I am so freaking stoked. I lost so much weight this week that I almost reached my goal!!
Week started: 140
Current weiht: 133
Lost 7 pounds!!! I am so freaking excited... this new diet is totally paying off. I don't have much more to go. I was going to finish at 132 but now am thinking I will go lower so it will not be such a big deal if I end up gaining a pound or two before the big day!

I am 123 this morning. scale is not consistant, but I was awesome this week in terms of working out and food. I did have family in town and had 2 glasses of wine with dinner. So I don't feel too bad. but i feel like I am 123 so lets see what next week brings! I am going to weigh myself on the gym scale and see what that says.

I don't know if I'll do it, but I want to lose the 10 lbs I gained since Christmas - but by the middle of July!
I hope I can do it, but even if it's only 8 lbs I'll be happy. I used cc before Xmas and lost over 45lbs but got too skinny (I'm 5'8" and got to 119 before I knew it and was really scrawny). I upped my calories and kind of stopped working out so I ended up gaining over 10lbs. I'm now 136 and want to get to a toned 125.
Let's see if I can get there!
pasta is good johgar, just go running the next day its incredible how much energy it gives u!

My scale said 158.5 wich is up a half pound since last Friday. It said 157 Tuesday. I tried not to weigh myself AT ALL but I had too. I did not walk at all this week. I usually do 2 miles on my lunch break.. I did do my weights and calethetics.. and only went over my calorie count once..(yesterday, Vietnamese lunch YUM) Weather sucks and having issues with my 15year old daughter. So a half pound is not gonna break me :)
On a good note though, I am wearing size 9/10 jeans so I am not doing to bad.
Good job everyone else, its never too late to join...and how did you loose 7pounds.....????
I so was going to check in earlier, but managed to get first degree burns from the freaking freezer at work (that's what I get for being helpful!) and had to go to urgent care. What happened was the evil thing decides to start defrosting itself yesterday, and there's water all over the place all day...then this morning, I'm cleaning up the water that collected overnight, and hear the machine start to hum again, and figure, hey, it's one of those fancy ones that defrosts when there's too much ice in the freezer, and then turns itself back on...too bad the freezer plate (you know, the metal ones in mini fridges) decides to turn itself back on while my wet hand is inside! the 3 middle fingers of my right hand stuck to it!!! thank goodness a coworker was next to the kitchen in her office, and I called her over to pour water over my hand so I could remove my fingers without removing all of my skin with it!!!
Anyways, on to weigh in...so i figured after my alcoholic binging last weekend, then my oinkout on pasta on weds...I was still maintaining with all my workouts...then last night, the boyfriend takes me out to dinner, which ended up being a bunch of our groups guys way to surprise the girls, so there were about 8 of us out to sushi, which then resulted in not 1 or 2, but 6 sake bombs in my belly! ahhhhhhh
Anyways, I'm down 1.6lb from last friday to 183 (starting weight for the group was 187)...6lb to go!!! yikes...6lb in 4 weeks! btw...doctor's office said I weighed 186...booohiisss! but that was with clothes and shoes on.

Of course! Evil roommates do that! Thats why I replaced all her pasta with the whole grain version, its so yummy! And high in fiber, so I'm eating healthy again! Eric keeps feeding me soda. And junk food. So I keep eating it. Yep. Do I care? Nope. He's happy he doesn't have to do anything to help me lose weight lol. I'm happy that I'm losing weight without having to do much extra. I will do my walk tonight though, since he's working til 9pm. Lets hope I'm down another lb or two by then!
I want to know the amberwolg diet to. I missed friday's weigh in, I was in NC for the weekend, and the diet did not exist and I know I gained weight, so i'm gonna give myself till this friday to get back on track and then i'll weigh in. I am back to feeling like a walrus again which sucks though, but was doing well prior to the trip, so I've got to get on the ball.
For the chicky with the bf drama, don't make any decisions under stress. Take time to clear your head- via walking, and after you get yourself back on track then make a decision.
Hi All, so I met with a trainer today because I must be doing something wrong. I have not been loosing weight and my body does NOT look like I have been lifting weights. I mean I look good, but not awesome. I think I have hit a stand still. He is expensive and I have to tap into my savings, but I believe I am worth it! right! Aren't we all worth it!!!
Anyway, I have a client who goes to him and she looks amazing! and is in her mid 40's.! He says that many women over work out and don't burn fat but mussel because they don't know where they should have their heart rate at. My client says she doesn't work out as hard as she did and now she is better shape.
I have 4 weeks to my trip in the Caribbean. I am a single 40 year old who is going to sailing with a bunch or strangers, and I am going to be in a bathing suit everyday! EKKESSSS. At the rate I am going I will not be were I want to be so I have to kick it up a notch. I really want this! I want to feel proud of my body, and not ashamed! I will share some tips I get from him.
i'll do it! maybe it's too late to actually get there, but it never hurts to try! especially since i've been on a bad streak for about a month (no exercise and extremely bad diet)
